According to a survey conducted by CHRAJ, Ghana Statistical Service and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, an estimated amount of GH¢5 billion was paid in bribes in 2021.
More so, more than a quarter of the country's adults admitted paying bribes to public officials.
